I have been working through HPR since its first days. They have provided me with the guidance and support to forge my career along the path I have wanted to follow. They have enabled me to experience the majority of offshore survey jobs (pipe & umbilical lay, inspections, construction, wind farm etc), in positions from online surveyor to client rep and into project management.

Having spent over 30 years in numerous roles within Oil & Gas survey related business (predominately as a day rate contractor) I realised that utilising the services of one agency and my own network of contacts was the best way to enjoy gainful employment and premium rates. Having been in the offshore industry now for some 24 years, I personally have always preferred the close family scenario when consulting with agents. I have also learnt to fully appreciate the effort and time involved in maintaining a high works ethos within HPR.

Iain and Mieke Petrie along with their team are so friendly, approachable and take all that this industry can throw at them in their stride. This of course alleviates the pressure on us the workers away from our families.
